Blizzard in Sweden halts travel; more snow in the forecast
Traffic at Sweden’s main airport came to a near stand-still today, delaying the anticipated arrival of some of this year’s Nobel Prize laureates, as a blizzard hit parts of the country.
NBC News reports forecasters have issued a class 2 storm warning for central and southern Sweden, saying that Stockholm may get another 12 inches of snow in the next 24 hours.
