Scientists map pig genome, could enhance use in meat production, drug testing
Nature.com: Scientists have a new draft sequence of a pig’s genome that may speed progress in meat production, as well as help create more faithful models of human disease. It could perhaps even allow pigs to be engineered to provide organs for transplant into human patients.
