Pennsylvania’s public employee pension system has moved to revoke Jerry Sandusky’s pension after his conviction and sentence in the child sexual abuse scandal.
The State Employees’ Retirement System notified Sandusky by letter Wednesday that his crimes triggered forfeiture of his pension.

US marks 11th anniversary of Sept. 11 attacks
Thousands are gathered today in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania to mark the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
At Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, only the families of the more than 2,750 people who were killed are reading their names. In previous years, politicians have participated in the reading of the names, or have read from the Bible or recited passages from literature, NBC News reports.
