Obama: Syrian government carried out chemical attack

AP: US President Barack Obama said in a PBS interview Wednesday that the US has “concluded” that the Syrian government carried out a deadly chemical weapons attack on civilians last week.

Obama did not present any direct evidence to back up his statement, and he said he is still evaluating options for possible military retaliation.

US, Japan women’s soccer teams battle for Olympic gold
The highly anticipated gold medal women’s soccer game between the U.S. and Japan has just concluded.
