Nintendo boss who took it from playing cards to video games dies
BBC News: Nintendo has confirmed that its former president Hiroshi Yamauchi, who ran the company for 53 years, has died.
Yamauchi took the company from its humble roots as a playing cards maker to its position now as a global video gaming giant best-known for its Mario titles and Wii console.
