Lock-down order lifted for Boston area

Boston Globe: At an evening press conference, police said they are continuing to hunt for bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev throughout the region.

“We cannot continue to lock down an entire city or an entire state,” said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis. “We have done what we could in this neighborhood.”

Police said Tsarnaev abandoned a car during a gun battle early Friday morning and fled on foot.
