South Korea elects 1st female president
BBC: South Korea’s electoral commission says former dictator’s daughter Park Geun-hye is the winner in the country’s presidential election. Though votes are still being counted, liberal candidate Moon-Jae has conceded.
Park, the daughter of former military leader Park Chung-hee, will make history as South Korea’s 1st female president.

South Korea elects 1st female president

BBC: South Korea’s electoral commission says former dictator’s daughter Park Geun-hye is the winner in the country’s presidential election. Though votes are still being counted, liberal candidate Moon-Jae has conceded.

Park, the daughter of former military leader Park Chung-hee, will make history as South Korea’s 1st female president.
