ComScore: Black Friday sales online top $1 billion for 1st time

Reuters: Online Black Friday retail sales topped $1 billion for the first time ever, comScore Inc says. Data from comScore shows that online sales jumped 26% on Black Friday to $1.04 billion from sales of $816 million on the corresponding day last year.

Amazon.com was the most visited retail website on Black Friday. Wal-Mart’s website was second, followed by Best Buy, Target and Apple’s sites.
