The Hollywood Reporter: Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj both left the 2012 American Music Awards on Sunday night with multiple awards.

Justin Bieber accepted awards for artist of the year, favorite pop/rock male artist and favorite pop/rock album. Minaj took home two awards — favorite rap/hip-hop artist and favorite rap/hip-hop album. 

The awards show, which celebrated its 40th anniversary, featured performances from No Doubt, Christina Aguilera and Linkin Park, among others.
