Russia’s Putin takes flight to lead endangered birds

Russian President Vladimir Putin took his love of wildlife to new heights Wednesday by flying with endangered cranes to help lead them on a migration route. Putin donned a baggy white costume and was seen in media reports flying with a copilot in a motorized deltaplane light aircraft, according to NBC News and Reuters.
