Augusta National Golf Club adds 1st 2 female members
AP: Augusta National Golf Club has female members for the 1st time in 80 years. The home of the Masters has invited former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore to become the 1st women at the club when it opens for a new season in October. Both women have accepted the invite.
The club’s chairman described the announcement as a “joyous occasion.”
