Tony Scott, director of ‘Top Gun,’ dead after jumping off Los Angeles bridge
Los Angeles Times: Tony Scott, known for directing ‘Top Gun,’ ‘Enemy of the State’ and other well-known action movies died Sunday.
Scott’s body was pulled out of the water by authorities after he jumped off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro.
“Investigators found a suicide note in his car, which was parked on the bridge.
Law enforcement sources said several witnesses saw Scott, the brother of director Ridley Scott, climb over a fence on the bridge and jump off.”
