House survives encroaching wildfire in Washington
Flames from a wildfire in Eastern Washington surrounded this house near Cle Elum on Aug. 14. The next day, the house was still standing, despite being surrounded by burnt brush and trees.
Officials say the 22,000-acre Taylor Bridge fire is about 25% contained today. Read more from The Seattle Times.
