Summer solstice celebrated at Stonehenge

AP: Rain-soaked crowds welcomed a wet summer solstice at Stonehenge on Thursday. Summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, has drawn people to Stonehenge for years. Thursday’s revelers marked the occasion in different ways, with some silently meditating, while others shouted pop tunes.
